Michael Zhang Joins Hayward as Director of Sales, Marketing for Asia Pacific

ELIZABETH, NJ — Hayward Pool Products announced that Michael Zhang has joined its International Team as director of sales/marketing for Asia Pacific. In this newly created position, he will lead the growth and development of swimming pool equipment sales in the Asia Pacific region with a focus on China. Zhang will be based in Shanghai, China, as well as having an office in Hayward's Wuxi, China manufacturing facility.

Vice President of Global Marketing, International Sales Bruce Fisher said, "China is the fastest growing economy in the world and Michael has a successful track record while working forother multi-national manufacturing companies there. We're confident that he'll be a great asset in building our in-country sales and marketing organization in China and throughout Asia Pacific."

Prior to joining Hayward, Zhang held similar market development roles in China for Electrolux and Franke Kitchen Systems. Both multi-national companies participate in the major appliance business for new construction and the aftermarket.
