McGinty Named Product Manager of Hayward Commercial Pool Products

ELIZABETH, NJ — Hayward Commercial announced that Troy McGinty has been promoted to product manager of its Commercial Pool Products group. McGinty has been with Hayward since 2008, when the company acquired Cat Controllers. He joined Cat Controllers in 2003 as Western Regional Sales Manager. In 2005, he assumed product management responsibility with the development and management of the POOLCOMM program.

Hayward Commercial Pool Products General Manager Patrick Sweeney said, "Troy is a well-rounded professional who is active in the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, the National Swimming Pool Foundation, and the Professional Pool Operators of America. He has been published in several industry publications, and has presented at numerous trade expos and training seminars on subjects including pH and ORP automation, communications with web interfaces, and business development. He is a regular presenter at the World Aquatic Health Conference. In short, Troy is a significant industry contributor on behalf of our team."

In 2007, McGinty earned his CPO, CPOI, and AFO certifications. He has a bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
