ELIZABETH, NJ (April 26, 2011) — Mark Normyle has been named Global Product Manager Automatic Pool Cleaners at Hayward® Pool Products. Formerly the manager of Hayward’s automatic cleaners business for nine years, Normyle will strategically lead this highly technical, rapidly changing, multi-channel product line, according to Vice President – Product Management Kevin Potucek.

“Under Mark’s leadership, the automatic cleaner product segment saw significant growth both domestically and internationally,” Potucek said. “Since that time, Hayward has invested heavily in this segment, introducing a new generation of PoolVacs, acquiring AquaVac robotic cleaners, as well as a full line of disc suction cleaners. Mark’s experience and leadership will be instrumental in the future of this very important global business.”

Prior to joining Hayward, Normyle held senior product management positions with Philips Electronics, Lehn & Fink and Colgate-Palmolive. He earned an MBA from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Manhattan College.

Normyle will be based in Hayward’s Clemmons, N.C. facility.
