ELIZABETH, NJ (January 22, 2016) — The new and improved AquaPod 2.0 wireless handheld remote now features a 4.3" touchscreen interface and over-molded sealed design. This waterproof, rechargeable remote offers pool owners intuitive control from the home, to the backyard, and even right into the water.

Compatible with Hayward's ProLogic®, AquaPlus® and OnCommand® Automation systems, AquaPod 2.0 offers fully functional control of pool, spa and other outdoor features. The color LCD display offers the most convenient nighttime viewing on the market and the ability to control multiple heater and chlorination controls, program macro/group functions, and even control light dimming when available.

According to Hayward's Senior Product Manager for Automation and Backyard Synergies, Greg Fournier, "Hayward is excited to update this remote for our mid-range automation systems to more closely match the day-to-day electronics consumers are familiar with. This will make backyard and pool control more intuitive and easier than ever."
