ELIZABETH, NJ (November 3, 2014) Hayward Pool Products announces the introduction of a new junction box to their line of swimming pool lighting accessories. The junction box comes with comes with toolless cord strain reliefs to allow for easy waterproof installation of one or two lights. Ideal for 120V or 12V lights, the junction box is adaptable to ¾” and 1-inch conduit and is UL-listed.
“Based on the National Electric Code and customer demand for easier and cheaper multi-light installations, we designed a junction box to fit these needs,” said Senior Product Manager for Lighting, Greg Fournier.
Other lighting accessories available from Hayward include a 300W wall-mount transformer for multi-light configurations during new construction, and a complete line of junction box retrofit kits that allow easy conversion from 120V to 12V systems. Hayward has UL-listed retrofit kits for Pentair®, Thermocraft®, and Intermatic® brands.
