ELIZABETH, NJ (November 10, 2011) — Hayward® Commercial Pool Products introduces a new Chemical Controller series, the HCC 1000 and HCC 1000 Complete Package. Both are single channel pH water chemistry automation systems. The HCC 1000 is a pH only controller ensuring that pH is precisely maintained at the desired level to optimize chlorine effectiveness. The HCC 1000 series provides powerful technology in a simple, convenient affordable package.

The HCC 1000 features a pH sensor, water chemistry controller, flow cell, and pressure sensor, all factory-assembled and pre-mounted on a durable PVC backboard. The complete package also includes a chemical feed pump mounted on the back board making water chemistry management simple, convenient, and affordable, providing the ultimate “one stop shop” experience.

Perfect for new and/or existing applications, this new controller series will both help ensure water is safe by optimizing chlorine effectiveness as well as protecting and extending the life of pool surfaces and equipment. Furthermore, the automated controller eliminates the time and risks associated with making manual pH measurements and adjustments.

The controller package comes as standard with our heavy duty, commercial grade pH sensor where performance and longevity are unmatched in the industry. The sensor is made of Poly Pro™ solid polymer reference technology matched with patented porous Teflon® fluid junction for protection and simple maintenance.

The controller features our advanced, fully programmable microprocessor-based technology which is extremely user-friendly with easy to read display of chemical readings and/or status. The controller also incorporates overfeed pH time out alarms to provide an extra layer of protection against overfeed of chemicals.

The only difference between the HCC 1000 Complete Package and the HCC 1000 is the addition of the peristaltic pump.
